Player numbers last updated: Aug 30, 2026, 06:59 (CEST) · refreshed hourly

Source: official Steam Web API (ISteamUserStats/GetNumberOfCurrentPlayers). Concurrent players (CCU) on Steam only – no console, Epic or Game Pass numbers.

What these numbers mean

“Playing now” is the number of players who were logged into this game on Steam at the same time as of the last check (CCU, concurrent users). It is not the number of buyers and not the total player base – a game with 2,000 concurrent players can see many times that many people over a full day.

The values swing hard by time of day and day of week: evenings and weekends are far busier than early on a Tuesday. Wipes, major updates and Steam sales cause short, sharp spikes. Console and Epic players never show up here – a game that looks “quiet” on Steam can still do well on PlayStation or Xbox.

The all-time peak refers to the period since we started tracking the game, not necessarily its entire history. This is an editorially maintained overview, not a live data feed – if in doubt, the official Steam stats win.

How to read the trend

The trend compares the average of the last 24 hours with the average of a 24-hour window 7 days ago (switchable to 30 days). We use averages rather than single readings so the normal day/night swing does not distort the direction.

A green up arrow means more activity than a week ago – often after a wipe, patch or sale. A red down arrow means less, and over a 30-day window that is what a slow bleed looks like. “±0%” or a dash means barely any movement, or too few data points (for example a title that has only been tracked for a short time).

Short-term spikes are normal. The trend only becomes meaningful across several weeks and alongside the all-time peak: 3,000 players against an all-time peak of 8,000 is a very different situation from 3,000 against a peak of 400,000.
