Dreadweave

Dreadweave blends extraction-shooter mechanics with genuine survival horror. It's set in a sealed-off, snow-covered city in the Far North with a distinct Soviet-era aesthetic, where a failed secret experiment has torn reality in two — the world you know, and "the Other Side." The game's defining mechanic is your own heartbeat: an unseen entity tracks players by their pulse, and the more stressed or frantic you get, the closer it gets. Staying calm keeps you safer. Playing as a lone operative based out of an underground bunker, you head into the city to scavenge ammo, medicine, gear and rare materials, then haul it all back to base. Dynamic weather and day/night cycles mean no two raids play out the same way. A key differentiator is "the Other Side" — a parallel realm you can enter to find the most valuable resources, limited by your air supply while a direct threat stalks you there. Between raids, you expand your bunker, craft gear, and grow a branching skill tree to shape your own playstyle. Quests and conversations with other survivors gradually unravel the story behind the catastrophe, including a choice of which faction — the military or the scientists — to trust. Dreadweave is developed and published by indie studio DeadGrass Games. The current Early Access build includes the full core loop, the first story act, and the main map; the full release is planned to add all four story acts, additional map zones, more enemies and mini-bosses, and deeper progression. Early Access is expected to run for about a year, with the price planned to stay the same throughout.
