Zero Pixel Dawn

Zero Pixel Dawn is a solo extraction shooter wrapped in a roguelike structure, rendered in 2.5D pixel art and set in a collapsing, post-apocalyptic pixel world. Combat mixes classic firearms with magic, pitted against mutated creatures, zombies, and hostile humans. Every run starts from zero: with no gear at all, you head into one of several dangerous zones to gather resources, find rare equipment, and unlock experimental weapons and spells. Make it back in time and you keep everything you found for good. Die, and you lose everything collected during that run, classic extraction risk on a roguelike rhythm. Between expeditions, a hideout serves as your base, letting you upgrade your loadout, craft tools, and prepare for the next push, so despite the run based loss risk, there's still tangible progress carrying over between runs. Zero Pixel Dawn comes from LauMVP Studio, a very small development team, and includes 21 Steam achievements. At under $3, it targets fans of accessible, compact extraction roguelikes with a retro look rather than players looking for a sprawling hardcore experience along the lines of Tarkov or Road to Vostok.
