Ghosts of Tabor fully translates the Tarkov experience into VR. Weapons are physically reloaded and handled, loot is searched by hand, and every encounter with other players or AI enemies feels noticeably more intense through the added immersion.
Since its Early Access launch on Steam and Meta App Lab in March 2023, the game has become one of the most commercially successful VR extraction shooters, expanding to the main Meta Quest Store, Pico, and PSVR2 as of May 2025. Anyone with VR gear looking for Tarkov-style tension won't currently find a more mature take on the genre for the platform.
