Ghosts of Tabor : LEGACY

Ghosts of Tabor: Legacy is a standalone Steam listing from Combat Waffle Studios and Neem Interactive: a deliberately preserved 2024 build of the well-known VR extraction shooter Ghosts of Tabor, running exactly as it did back then — for players who want that specific era back. The core loop is unchanged: gear up as an operator, loot weapons, ammo and supplies across the maps, and reach extraction with everything still in your bag — solo or in a squad, PvPvE against both other players and AI. It includes the original maps from that era, including Old Island, Hex Bunker, Silo and Matka Miest, along with the systems that defined it at the time: physical backpacks with real item collision instead of a pure grid inventory, the classic neck-snap melee takedown, the original NPC behavior, and the original time-to-kill and damage model. What sets Legacy apart is an explicit roadmap decision: the game is kept technically maintained but deliberately receives no new maps, reworks, or content updates — a permanently accessible "time capsule" experience that exists alongside the current, actively developed version of Ghosts of Tabor. It's VR-only and requires compatible hardware with motion controllers (SteamVR/OculusVR, supporting Valve Index, HTC Vive, Meta and Pico headsets, among others).
