Important: Matomo is self-hosted by us. All data is processed exclusively on servers located in Germany and is never shared with Matomo as a company, with Google, or with any other third party, domestically or abroad. No data is transferred to a third country (e.g. the USA).
Matomo is configured to run without cookies: no tracking cookies are set, IP addresses are shortened/anonymized, and no cross-site tracking takes place. For this reason, processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in anonymized audience measurement, without requiring separate consent.
Data collected via Matomo is not used to personally identify you and is not merged with personal data from other sources.
This website uses web fonts for a consistent display of typefaces. All fonts used are hosted locally on our own server. There is no connection to Google servers or other third-party providers, as would otherwise be the case with the standard integration of Google Fonts. No IP address is transmitted to external font providers when this website is accessed.
On individual subpages (game detail views), we embed trailer videos from YouTube. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (domain "youtube-nocookie.com"). According to the provider, this mode ensures that YouTube does not store cookies for ad personalization unless the video is played.
However, as soon as you actively start an embedded video, a connection to YouTube's servers (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, USA) is established, transmitting your IP address and potentially further device- and browser-related data. This occurs regardless of whether you have a Google account or are logged in. This data transfer is outside of our control.

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.
