About the game
STALZONE, formerly STALCRAFT: X, is a genuine outlier in the extraction space. Instead of time-limited raids with wipe cycles, it runs on a permanently persistent MMO world set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, where gear and progress are kept for good. Only loot not yet safely carried out is lost on death.
Originally launched on Steam in 2022 as STALCRAFT: X, it underwent a comprehensive rebrand to STALZONE in June 2026, including reworked visuals, a new onboarding experience for newcomers, English voiceover, and seasonal content. Free-to-play and explicitly wipe-free, STALZONE targets players who prefer the MMO approach of a lasting, socially driven world over the classic session-based loop.
