The Midnight Walkers

The Midnight Walkers is a zombie extraction shooter from Oneway Ticket Studio, set in the Liberty Grand Center, a massive complex in Golden County with thematically distinct floors ranging from a hospital to a shopping mall to a casino, each with its own loot pool. Beyond the zombie hordes, toxic gas periodically floods random floors over time, forcing constant movement between levels via elevators and stairwells. You play solo or in trios, choosing from four classes: Brick, a tank wielding a hammer and heavy armor, Crow, an agile assassin with daggers, Lockdown, a ranged fighter using a bow, and Bartender, a support who heals and buffs allies via cocktails. The extraction loop follows genre convention: gather gear and materials, craft, trade, and escape alive with your loot, since dying means losing everything you were carrying. Enemies range from weak but dangerous in a horde Walkers to aggressive Runners and further mutations. An important note on current status: originally built as a PvPvE title with rivalry between survivors, the developer overhauled the game in July 2026 following a sharp drop in player numbers. Since then, The Midnight Walkers runs on a purely PvE focused, peer to peer model with no dependency on the studio's live servers. The marketplace and ranking systems have been removed, and balance and progression reworked around solo and co-op play. The game remains in Early Access, and the developers have not made firm promises about the scope or continuation of further development.
