The Cycle: Frontier dropped players onto the abandoned alien planet of Fortuna III to scavenge resources and gear before deadly storms or rival prospectors spelled the end. A solid PvPvE concept from YAGER Development, known for Spec Ops: The Line. Following its full release in June 2022, the free-to-play title increasingly struggled with cheating problems and economic viability. YAGER shut the servers down for good in September 2023. It remains a relevant historical reference point for understanding the genre's early competitive landscape. It's no longer playable today.
