The HUNGER Closed Beta is live: from today at 10:00 BST it is back to the Château and out on Expeditions.
If you do not have access yet, do not wait around, because Good Fun Corporation can close new requests at any time.
How to get into the beta
You request access on HUNGER's Steam page. Invites go out in waves, depending on how stable the game and servers are holding up. Once you are in, you get an email from Steam and HUNGER Playtest shows up in your library.
- Request early: new access requests can be closed at any moment.
- Invite friends: once you are in, you can invite friends. That still works even after new requests are closed.
- Read up first: the studio has published a Getting Started guide with a changelog and a list of known issues.
Streaming explicitly allowed
There is no NDA: streaming and recording are allowed. Good Fun Corporation asks you to share content under #playHUNGER.
What kind of game HUNGER actually is
Shortly before launch, Good Fun Corporation admitted there had been some confusion in the community about what kind of game HUNGER actually is. So in Missive XV the studio put out a short video explaining what it means by Extraction RPG and how the individual systems fit together.

How long the beta runs
The Closed Beta is scheduled to end on October 26 at 09:00 GMT. Progress from the test gets reset afterwards, it is a test phase after all.
