Embark has released Live Update 2.3.0 for ARC Raiders, kicking off a new Raider Project: Soul's Offering, a tribute to the Raiders who fell at Pendola Pass.

It also brings the Noxious Set, reshuffled loot inside the ARC Emperor and a return to the old update rhythm.

Soul's Offering: Speranza honours the fallen

The four contradas of Toledo rarely agree on anything, but they all share the losses suffered topside. As stories from Pendola Pass make the rounds in the cantinas, Celeste is asking the people of Speranza to pause and remember the Raiders who did not come back.

That turns into the new Soul's Offering project: every offering is unique, and everyone who takes part shares in the reward. Landing right before Halloween week, the theme fits rather nicely.

Less loot at the Emperor's front door

The key balance change is about the fallen ARC Emperor. Containers near the entrance now give lower-tier rewards, with the valuable stuff moved deeper inside. If you were used to a quick in and out, you will be taking less home.

Along with that, Embark extended the locked-room exploit prevention to the Emperor and adjusted the killboxes at the top of the compactor inside, where players had been dying unfairly.

Frigate, Heavy Shield and more changes

  • Heavy Shield: base charge up from 80 to 90. Embark already buffed it slightly in 2.0, but usage is still low.
  • Frigate: new hatch visuals show how far the puzzle has progressed, plus clearer audio cues on the power core vents and hatches. Missing collision that let players into the geometry is fixed.
  • Pings: on or near the Frigate, pings now mark the exact spot instead of just labelling the Frigate.
  • Barricades: can no longer be placed into walls or spaces that are too tight.
  • Skulker: you can no longer stand on it indefinitely.
  • Ballistic Gondola: downed Raiders no longer keep losing health inside it.

Back to the usual rhythm

Since Frozen Trail, Embark has been shipping fixes every week. 2.3.0 ends that phase: fixes go back to every three weeks, store updates stay weekly.
